01. How many women & men are in your team?
Women: 3 / Men: 1

02. What does gender equality mean to you?
Gender Equality, means a lot to me. I’m a strong believer in equal rights no matter what in life. I believe everyone should be treated equally no matter what the gender, may this be in the world of Work life, GAA Clubs, Gyms etc.

03. Can you tell me about a female role model who has inspired you over your career?
Apart from my own mum, who inspires me every day! Another strong female woman, that helped inspire me in my career, would be my pastry and confectionary chef/lecture in college. Throughout my 4 years at college, I was inspired by her work ethic, drive and her strong character in a mostly dominated male industry at the time.  Looking up to a successful woman, at the top of her game in the hospitality sector, helped towards moulding my career.

04. What do you think we can do to make the workplace more gender equal?
Supporting and encouraging women, to go for more senior roles in the workplace. Haven equal pay in the workplace and to help understand women more perhaps. Also, I think to help with gender equality, would be to have more mental health days.

05. What actions do you think we can do to help gender equality in everyday life?
I think one action, that needs to be addressed is Gender inequality – needs to STOP!
