We were delighted to be awarded the NUI, Galway contract in Galway City back in June and, encompassing 4 exciting restaurants and a 30-strong team of amazing people behind it, we successfully mobilised the contract for the start of September.
Our coffee offer on campus includes Starbucks, Lavazza & Bell Lane Coffee, which has proved a hit amongst people who are wanting choice. And, our café offer extends to home baked and artisanal pastries, cakes and sweet treats along with gourmet made-to-order sandwiches and salads.
Live cooking stations in the main restaurant have provided theatre to the offer and allow our chefs to demonstrate their creativity and customers to enjoy their dishes, their way!
The FoodSpace philosophy means our emphasis is on supporting local suppliers and communities in the sourcing of our ingredients and the man in charge of what’s on the menus? Anthony Healy – a Galway native that our Ops Manager Grainne hired during a recent trip to Mont Blanc. Not your usual interview location!
Anthony Healy has a passion for combining local produce with Asian flavours – so everyone on campus can look forward to wonderful fusion food!
