Bursting with a real creative spirit, a passion for food and plenty of inspiration from her experience in editorial design and her own blog ‘Italianea’, we are delighted to have Italian-born Federica as part of the FoodSpace team.
Federica heads up our Graphic Design – everything from supporting the sales teams with jaw-dropping conceptual ideas for our tenders, right through to interiors of our restaurants and cafes, marketing materials for FoodSpace locations and brand photography.
Federica has slipped into FoodSpace life with ease: “I love my Team, I could spend hours talking with Grainne about our new ideas and inspirations or some new restaurants in the City. Or with Conor talking about our food concepts and our recipes.”
You’d expect us to say that Federica loves food and wine (she’s Italian after all), but known for their passion she likens the design process to falling in love. “From the idea in my head to drawing it on paper and then creating it on my PC, when everything comes together – the balance, the colours, the images – I feel it in my stomach, the butterflies, it’s like falling in love for me. And when the clients love it – that’s magic.’
Being a true creative, she loves reading, writing, poetry and the theatre, but she’s also a paper lover too –
fascinated by the different types, the touch and the smell of the ink. We’d say in Federica; we’ve found just the right person to lead our design!
